Nigerian lawyer, poet, education advocate, and Salzburg Global Fellow Karimot Odebode’s A Woman Has Many Names is a powerful poetry collection exploring the layered identities and lived experiences of women.
Across more than 100 poems – four of which have been displayed throughout the Schloss, Meierhof, and park since June 2025 – Odebode reflects on oppression and resilience, love and nationhood, grief and hope. Her work gives voice to those navigating complex worlds while asserting the right to self-definition.
The collection stands as both reflection and call to action, encouraging women to claim the fullness of their identities and stories.
