Located next to the library on the sunny lake side of the Schloss, we find the Chinese Room which also contains some literature. It is graced with Chinese tapestries and was created by Max Reinhardt as an exotic room in the rococo style. The large, comfortable antique furniture in the center of the room tempts one to linger.

The Chinese Room is frequently used in conjunction with the library because of its close proximity, and offers an exotic setting for drinks, presentations or simply as a conference or study area in a relaxing, cozy atmosphere.
